Job description

Job Summary

PetroBot Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic strategically driven Business Development to expand our market presence in the Southern region of India . This remote position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in business development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies including lead generation and targeted prospecting.
  • Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets by securing new client engagements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Design and Technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews to ensure continued satisfaction and business retention.
  • Operational Support

  • Prepare and submit tender documents quotations and competitive bid proposals.
  • Monitor project execution timelines and budgets ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
  • Support revenue optimization initiatives and manage strategic accounts.
  • Strategic Planning & Industry Awareness

  • Stay updated on industry trends market developments and regulatory changes in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage PetroBots products and services to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to inform business strategy.
  • Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance pipeline status and market dynamics.
  • Qualifications :

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in Business Development specifically in the Oil & Gas or NDT sectors.
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies and B2B sales processes.
  • Proven experience in preparing and managing tenders and bid submissions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
