Overall Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and services.
  • Gather, analyze, and organize data from various databases to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and ensure optimal solution implementation.
  • Optimize database queries and data architecture for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across applications and databases.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in Python development and database technologies.

Must-Have Attributes :

  • Strong expertise in Python programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Sound understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills and team collaboration.

    • Category-wise Technical Skills :

    Programming Languages :

  • Python ( core focus)
  • SQL and NoSQL query languages

    • Databases :

  • Relational DBMS : MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • NoSQL : MongoDB, Redis

    • Frameworks & Libraries :

  • Flask, Django or other Python web frameworks
  • SQLAlchemy or other ORM tools

    • Data Management & Integration :

  • ETL processes
  • Data migration and transformation

    • Others :

  • RESTful API development
  • Version control (Git)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) an advantage

    • Experience :

  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Python development and database management.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying scalable applications.
  • Experience working with distributed systems and cloud environments is a plus.
  • Prior experience in data-driven projects or analytics is desirable.

    • Day-to-Day Activities :

  • Develop new features and enhance existing Python applications.
  • Optimize database schemas and queries for performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other developers to integrate data sources.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies : daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives.
  • Document technical specifications and write clear technical reports.
  • Monitor application and database performance, applying necessary improvements.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Python, Database Management, or Cloud platforms are a plus.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Adaptability to fast-changing project requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

    • QUALIFICATION :

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
