What will you do?

Company Secretarial

Assist in

• a)      Preparation of notices, agendas, and minutes for Board, Committee, and General Meetings;
• b)     Maintaining statutory registers and records;
• c)      Drafting routine eFilings with RoC and correspondence;

d)     Supporting in preparation of compliance documents and regulatory returns under the Companies Act, 2013 and other regulatory requirements.

Policy drafting / reviewing / document management

a) Assist in draft internal policies / SOPs / templates / checklists

b) Document management

Legal knowledge

a)      Good working knowledge on drafting / reviewing / executing legal documents such as agreements / NDAs / MoUs etc.

b)     Effectively coordinating with user teams in negotiating legal clauses of counter parties

c)      Should strike a good balance between legal compliance and operational requirements

Stakeholder communication

a)      facilitating smooth communication and documentation flow between the organization and statutory / government authorities.

b)     Responding to queries received from Government of Telangana

Serving Startup companies

a)      Possessing a strong service mindset, with the willingness to set aside designated office hours to support startup companies in the relevant area of function.

Educational Background

Associate Company Secretary (ACS) aspirant. (Semi-qualified CS and / or LLB is desirable)

Graduate in Commerce discipline.

Years of Relevant Experience / Work Experience – Role Types

0–2 years of relevant experience in company secretarial, or corporate governance support roles.

Experience in Section 8 companies or entities dealing with government correspondence will be an added advantage.

Preferred Professional Background / Relevant Sector Experience

Section 8 companies / not-for-profit organizations.

Corporate governance and compliance functions.

Secretarial firms or organizations interacting with government departments or regulatory bodies.
