Preparation of local financials (under Indian GAAP & as per RBI directives)Preparation of regulatory (RBI) reportsBASEL-3 compliance including capital adequacy computation, Pillar 3 reporting, etc.Responsibility for all reporting to RBI pertaining to Finance and reporting to the Board / Audit Committees incompliance with the Companies Act.Prior experience in the banking industry as detailed aboveFamiliarity of prevailing accounting and RBI frameworkEnsure the robustness of key reporting and process controls, including submission trend and varianceanalysisEstablish working relationships with data owners across multiple lines of business to validate theunderstanding of reporting requirements and ensure complete and timely data submissionsDrive identification, remediation, monitoring and escalation of data issues as well as partner with technologyand data management teams to drive improvements in data qualityFollowing an audit-style approach for execution of controls and transaction testing and verification to ensurethe accuracy and reliability of reported RWA actuals, and the adequacy of compensating measuresProvide credible challenge to management to drive compliance with regulatory and policy requirementsSupport executive management and the board by reporting on the effectiveness of key financial andregulatory processesExecute a framework to test if the internal systems supporting compliance with regulatory requirements andexpectations are properly designed, documented and implemented and include appropriate governance anddata quality controlsReview and provide feedback on deliverablesPerform risk assessments to identify areas requiring detailed testingLead and participate in reviews, including assessing the internal control environment, developing testingstrategies and reviewing control and sample data testingLead and participate in discussions with process and control owners to assess inherent risks, identifycontrols and control gaps, by conducting walkthroughsChallenge, assess, detail test the design and operating effectiveness of controlsIdentify, document and maintain evidence supporting process and controls objectives.
