Junior Trade Monitoring Analyst (Night shift)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Trade Monitoring Analyst to support overnight trading activities. You will be responsible for monitoring live and post-trade activity across multiple asset classes to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity and continuity of trading operations during off-market hours.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and review trade flow and executions across various asset classes (e.g., equities, derivatives, FX, crypto, etc.) during night hours.

Ensure trades are executed correctly and escalate trade breaks, mismatches, or anomalies to senior traders orresearchers.

Perform real-time surveillance of trading activity to detect potential market abuse or policy violations.

Generate and validate reports related to trade volumes, exposure, risk, and performance.

Liaise with internal teams including traders, researchers and technology to resolve operational issues.

Maintain accurate logs of incidents, alerts, and resolutions as part of audit and compliance protocols.

Conduct end-of-day checks and reconciliations to ensure proper trade capture and reporting.

Assist with regulatory and internal reporting requirements if applicable.

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in trade operations, trade support, or surveillance.

Willingness and ability to work permanent night shifts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, MetaTrader, or proprietary platforms) is a plus.

Working knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or VBA is an advantage.

Understanding of global markets, financial instruments, and the regulatory environment is preferred.
