Role Overview

The General Ledger and Reporting Lead will be the foundational owner of the company's financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately and timely recorded, reconciled, and reported. This is a hands-on role perfect for an ambitious individual ready to step up and lead the core accounting operations in a dynamic, high-volume environment. You will be instrumental in helping the company mature its financial processes to support future scale and audits.

This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity as we scale and will report directly to the Finance Manager / Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Close & Reporting

• Own the Month-End Close : Lead and execute the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring completion within established deadlines (e.G., 5-day close).
• Journal Entries & Accuracy : Prepare, review, and approve complex journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Balance Sheet assurance : Perform detailed reconciliations of all key GL accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany balances, complex liabilities, and reserves.
• Financial Statements : Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management review and external reporting.
