Manufacturing Engineer / Lead Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Experience Level : 5+ years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer / Lead Engineer with strong expertise in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering processes, aircraft systems, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and optimize manufacturing & assembly processes for aircraft structures, systems, and equipment.
Create & maintain routing sheets and Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) in compliance with Airbus standards.
Interpret and work with technical drawings (AIRINA) and 3D models (3D Juump) to support production activities.
Ensure adherence to standards (AIPS, AIPI, etc.) and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, production) to resolve technical issues.

Must-Have Skills

Experience in aviation & aerospace industry.

Strong understanding of aircraft systems & structures.

Expertise in manufacturing & assembly processes (structures, equipment, systems).

Skilled in routing & SOI creation / updates.

Proficiency in technical drawings (AIRINA) & 3D models (3D Juump).

Knowledge of Airbus standards (AIPS, AIPI).

Working knowledge of SAP (manufacturing & logistics).

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with professional proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Project Management experience.

Familiarity with Final Assembly Line (FAL) environment.

Experience with AR, IC & S03 experience processes.

MS Office proficiency.

Proactive mindset.

Tools : AIRINA, 3D Juump, CATIA, SAP, Airbus Tools
