We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our e-commerce business operations . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing end-to-end e-commerce processes including seller / merchant acquisition, account management, business development, and operations excellence . This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills who can drive scalable growth across B2B and B2C e-commerce ecosystems.
Job Responsibilities
Business & Operations Management
Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations across multiple categories and clients including marketplaces, payment wallets, delivery aggregators, online transport networks, and digital platforms.
Drive merchant and seller acquisition strategies and ensure strong seller / customer account management.
Monitor seller performance, product / category assortment, and marketplace efficiency to ensure consistent business growth.
Ensure smooth coordination across cross-functional teams .
Business Development & Growth
Identify and execute new business development opportunities to expand e-commerce verticals.
P&L Ownership & Strategy
Manage P&L responsibilities ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost control, and margin achievement.
Develop and implement business strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics to achieve growth targets.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor multi-level teams
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that delivers consistent results.
Qualifications & Skills
10–15 years of experience in e-commerce operations, business development, or sales management, with proven success in driving growth and managing P&L.
Strong understanding of B2B and B2C e-commerce ecosystems including marketplaces, payment solution and delivery networks.
Demonstrated experience in merchant / seller acquisition, account management, and customer lifecycle management.
MBA or equivalent preferred.
