Job Description
- The role includes a significant element of hands-on involvement in financial reporting, analysis and financial modelling, automation of data flows and tasks, along with managing delivery projects and training a team and being responsible for all aspects of delivery for a portfolio of clients.
- This includes leading FP&A and financial reporting activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely reports such as consolidated financial statements, segment and project financials, and board / investor reports.
- Responsibilities include reviewing input data, overseeing the team's analysis and reporting tasks, delivering in-depth financial and operational analyses, managing cap tables, and maintaining detailed historical datasets for M&A and exit readiness. The role also includes handling M&A-related tasks, special projects like process reviews or technology implementations, and driving process standardization, automation, and documentation.
- Forward-looking FP&A responsibilities include compiling and managing budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range business models, as well as preparing business plans, dashboards, and KPI reports. The position requires regular interaction with client management, investors, and external parties to ensure the quality and consistency of deliverables, as well as leading process mapping and onboarding activities for new clients, including finance process restructuring and framework development.
- Additionally, the role supports internal development by mentoring team members, participating in training and talent acquisition, and contributing to sales, marketing, and knowledge-building initiatives through research, content creation, and case studies.
