Position Summary :
As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our customers. You will work closely with our development and product teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via email, phone, and Meetings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, including bug identification and resolution.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Software upgrades for the customers based on the Splan build versions and releases.
- Participate in Solution validations for the new releases and ensure quality builds are certified.
- Document and track customer interactions and resolutions in our support system.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new customers.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Hours and Shifts :
This position requires round-the-clock support, with three shifts per day.Shifts are as follows :
Morning Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PMAfternoon Shift : 2 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMNight Shift : 10 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AMSupport Engineers will rotate shifts every 2 months to ensure balanced coverage and work-life balance.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.4+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a SaaS environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in troubleshooting software applications and understanding of web technologies.Experience with support ticketing systems and CRM software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL.Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.Knowledge of API integrations and RESTful services.Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.(ref : hirist.tech)
