About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven DataStage Developer with strong expertise in ETL design, development, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and managing data pipelines that ensure smooth data integration and transformation across diverse systems. This role requires a solid understanding of IBM InfoSphere DataStage, data warehousing concepts, and data modelling, along with a passion for delivering efficient and scalable ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems such as data warehouses, data marts, or operational databases.
• Build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence requirements.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and application teams to understand data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and business rules.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data load issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Optimize ETL processes for scalability and performance using best practices in partitioning, parallel processing, and tuning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including ETL design documents, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with stakeholders to implement data governance and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.
• Participate in code reviews, peer testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and maintainability.
• Support migration or modernization projects involving DataStage to cloud-based platforms or other ETL frameworks, if required.
