Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system tasks.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, CrowdStrike, Nexus , etc.
  • Collaborate with security teams to assess vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work with DevOps, SysAdmins, and Developers to drive remediation efforts.
  • Conduct security analysis, security assessments , and monitor remediation progress.
  • Utilize monitoring and reporting tools (Grafana, Splunk, Jira) for tracking and issue management.
  • Analyze and prioritize risks using CVSS scoring, vendor advisories, and vulnerability metrics .
  • Support CI / CD processes and basic DevOps practices for secure deployments.
  • Prepare reports and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word .

Must-to-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management or DevSecOps .
  • Strong expertise in Shell Scripting and Linux administration .
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (Rapid7 InsightVM, CrowdStrike, Nexus, etc.).
  • Good understanding of vulnerability management principles, methodologies, and best practices .
  • Proficiency with CI / CD tools and basic DevOps practices.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, Jira).
  • Knowledge of CVSS scoring and risk prioritization .
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
  • Experience with automation in vulnerability management .
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS / Azure) .
  • Advanced project and time management skills .
  • Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
