Founded by ex-ISRO engineers, we are reimagining access to space with compact, intelligent, and sustainable satellite buses and propulsion systems designed for orbital longevity and cost efficiency. We are looking for a Founder’s Office member to work closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic, operational, and fundraising initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves solving complex problems, and wants to help shape the future of India’s private space sector. ⚡ Role Overview As part of the Founder’s Office, you will act as a strategic extension of the CEO — driving critical initiatives across strategy, fundraising, operations, and grant management . You’ll play a key role in proposal drafting, investor communication, and organizational development. This is a founder-track role designed for individuals who can think strategically, execute independently, and operate like an entrepreneur.

Support fundraising efforts — investor research, pitch deck development, and due diligence documentation. Conduct industry and competitor analysis to identify market opportunities and partnerships. 2. Grant Documentation & Proposal Drafting Prepare and manage grant proposals, technical documents, and project submissions for government and institutional programs (ISRO, IN-SPACe, DST, DRDO, etc.). Maintain compliance with grant requirements and ensure timely report submissions. Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for proposal inputs and data collection. 3. Investment-Ready Operations Build and streamline processes that make Orbitt Space investment-ready — including documentation, data room setup, and performance metrics. Support financial modeling, forecasting, and milestone-based tracking for investor discussions. Assist in aligning operational plans with fundraising goals and investor expectations. 4. Operations & Cross-Functional Execution Drive cross-team projects across engineering, procurement, and R&D. Identify execution bottlenecks and ensure timely milestone delivery. Manage vendor coordination, government liaison, and institutional partnerships. 5. Communication & Stakeholder Management Prepare executive summaries, investor updates, board decks, and internal reports. Manage cross-department communication, meeting follow-ups, and deliverable tracking. Draft formal documentation and correspondence with clarity and precision. 6. Organizational Development Help design internal dashboards, workflows, and performance systems. Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and shaping organizational culture.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related disciplines (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics preferred). 2–6 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or startup environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with tools like Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Slides, Notion, Jira (Atlassian), or Asana.

Familiarity with grant writing, technical documentation, or project reporting. Knowledge of financial modeling, OKR frameworks, or program management. Passion for space technology and system-level problem-solving.
Who You Are A generalist problem-solver who can move between strategy and execution. A self-starter with high ownership and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. Excellent communicator — articulate in both written and spoken form. Driven by curiosity, purpose, and a desire to contribute to India’s growing space ecosystem.
What You’ll Gain Work directly with the founding team (ex-ISRO engineers). Exposure to satellite development, propulsion technology, and grant management. Hands-on experience in fundraising, strategy, and startup operations. Fast-track career growth in one of India’s most promising space tech startups.
