Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Librarian at Guru Harkrishan High School And Junior College Of Commerce, located in Mumbai. The Librarian will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the library, managing library resources, and providing library services to students and staff. Key tasks include cataloging library materials, maintaining the library database, offering guidance on library use, and instructing students in effective research methods.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Library Services and Library Science
• Experience with Metadata and Library Management
• Skills in Library Instruction and ability to provide educational support
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using library management software and technology
• Master's degree in Library Science or related field is a plus
• Previous experience in a school or academic library setting is desirable
