Job Description :

We are actively seeking candidates for a full-time QA automation testing position based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in the field and possess a strong skill set in automation testing tools and techniques, with proficiency in Selenium, Java, Appium, BDD, and API automation.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
Design and implement automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.
Create and maintain test frameworks and infrastructure for efficient test execution.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely bug identification.
Implement Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies for test automation.
Perform API testing to validate the functionality and performance of web services, particularly REST APIs.
Participate in the planning and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to identify and resolve issues.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation and implement them as appropriate.
Document test results, defects, and test cases for reference and reporting.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Rich experience in QA automation testing, with a focus on Selenium, Java, Appium, BDD, and API automation.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java for test automation scripting.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.

Strong understanding of mobile automation testing using Appium.

Experience in implementing and executing BDD frameworks for test automation.

Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques, particularly for RESTful APIs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
