About the Role
As an Implementation Consultant at Chargebee, you will be the trusted advisor and technical guide to our customers throughout their onboarding journey. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into scalable billing solutions, ensuring a smooth configuration, integration, and go-live process. Working across customer segments and regions, you’ll drive successful implementations by leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities—delivering measurable value and outstanding experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Implementation Ownership : Lead the customer onboarding process from requirements gathering to go-live, ensuring a seamless and timely implementation experience.
- Business Analysis & Documentation : Collaborate with customers to define and document business requirements based on deep dives, integrations, and data migration needs.
- SOW Management : Support the creation and execution of the Statement of Work (SOW), aligning deliverables with customer goals.
- Project Execution : Drive project delivery through regular video calls, email communications, and Slack engagement with customers.
- Issue Resolution : Identify gaps and proactively solve issues during implementation by collaborating with internal teams (Support, Engineering, Product, etc.).
- Time-to-Value (TTV) Focus : Strategically reduce onboarding timelines while maintaining a high bar for customer satisfaction.
- Product Consulting : Act as a subject matter expert and provide strategic recommendations to customers for optimizing their billing infrastructure .
- Continuous Learning : Stay up to date with Chargebee’s evolving product features to provide cutting-edge solutions .
- Operational Excellence : Maintain accurate time tracking, CRM hygiene, project documentation, and deliver timely weekly status reports.
- Knowledge Sharing : Maintain clear and comprehensive internal documentation to ensure seamless transitions and team alignment.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Aptitude : Proficiency in working with APIs, JS, front end coding and understanding of SaaS integration patterns is a plus.Analytical Mindset : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess implementation risks and recommend scalable solutions.CRM Experience : Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce (SFDC) or HubSpot for basic customer data management.Financial Acumen : Basic understanding of financial concepts and recurring billing models.Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.Project Management : Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously with attention to detail and accountability.
