Job description

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with extensive experience in automation testing, performance engineering, and quality strategy for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will lead automation frameworks, drive performance testing initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high scalability, reliability, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy, covering both automation and performance testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated regression and functional test suites across UI, API, and integration layers.
  • Architect and optimize test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
  • Develop and execute performance test plans using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and work closely with development and DevOps teams to resolve issues.
  • Integrate automated and performance tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices in automation and performance engineering.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality standards are met from design through deployment.
  • Provide test metrics, dashboards, and reports on quality trends and performance results.
  • Stay updated with emerging QA tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall QA experience with strong focus on Automation and Performance Testing.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Expertise in API automation using RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6.
  • Deep understanding of system performance metrics (CPU, memory, throughput, latency, etc.).
  • Strong database skills SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiar with performance monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience mentoring or leading QA teams and managing large-scale test initiatives.

  • Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
  • Experience with security testing basics and non-functional quality attributes.
  • Knowledge of test data management and service virtualization
