Purchase Manager – Retail Pharmacy
Location : Pollachi, Coimbatore
Job Summary :
The Purchase Manager will handle all purchase-related operations for the pharmacy division — analyzing stock requirements using ERP, placing orders with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery. The role also involves managing store sales activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze stock levels and sales data in ERP to determine required order quantities.
Raise purchase orders and coordinate with multiple vendors for timely supply.
Maintain accurate purchase and delivery records in the ERP system.
Follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries and resolve supply issues.
Negotiate prices and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
Verify product quality, batch numbers, and expiry dates upon receipt.
Support store operations and sales after completing purchase tasks.
Requirements : Minimum
4 years of experience
in
retail pharmacy operations or purchasing .
Strong knowledge of medicines, vendors, and pharmacy product categories.
Proficiency in
ERP systems
and Excel.
Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Job Type : Full-time
Work Hours : 10 AM to 8 PM
