Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai. The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of the insurance domain, and a proven ability to drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives. The Sales Manager will lead a high-performing team of insurance sales professionals, ensuring revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management : Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
- Sales Strategy Development : Design and implement innovative sales strategies aligned with business objectives to increase market penetration.
- Performance Monitoring : Track, analyze, and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Training & Development : Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance sales effectiveness and product knowledge.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, operations, and claims teams to ensure seamless
customer experiences and process efficiency.
Market Insights : Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities for growth.Qualifications & Skills
Proven 5+ years of experience in Sales Management, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution models, and customer needs.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to design and execute sales strategies that deliver measurable results.Proficiency in CRM platforms and digital sales tools.Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a data-driven mindset.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and target-oriented environment.(ref : iimjobs.com)
