Head of Middle Years Programme

The Head of MYP is a pedagogical leader who leads and manages the International Baccalaureate Middle Year Programme (IB MYP) segment of the school.

He / she is responsible for ensuring that teaching and learning are in line with internationally recognized standards and research-based best practice.

Key Responsibilities

To mentor MYP educators in building the brand of the school by fulfilling the needs of all stakeholders and building the culture in line with the mission and values.

To Lead the school and its staff to achieve extremely high standards of teaching and learning, behaviour and attainment.

Forming effective external relationships with parents, the local community, wider IB community, the IB office and other stakeholders.

Working with other senior staff of the school and SEL to oversee the use of finance, facilities and other resources across the school

Oversee compliance with state, national, and IB policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all MYP activities and common school activities.
