Job Title : Lighting Designer & Business Development ManagerLocation : Mumbai, IndiaExperience Required : 3–7 yearsIndustry : Architectural Lighting / Interior Design / Office & Residential Projects✨ About the RoleWe’re launching a new Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within Workstore , focused on premium lighting solutions for residential and office spaces—and we’re looking for a trailblazer to lead the charge. This hybrid role combines creative lighting design with high-impact business development, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our lighting division and grow into a leadership role.Key ResponsibilitiesLighting DesignConceptualize and execute lighting designs for mid to high-end residential and commercial office projects.Develop detailed lighting layouts using Dialux software (proficiency required).Collaborate with architects and interior designers to deliver integrated lighting solutions.Prepare technical documentation, mood boards, and client presentations.Familiarity with 3D rendering tools (e.g., SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion) is a strong advantage.Business DevelopmentBuild and nurture relationships with architects, designers, and consultants across Mumbai independently with complete accountability as KAM.Generate qualified leads and project enquiries in the residential and office segments.Conduct presentations, demos, and client meetings to showcase lighting solutions.Track market trends and provide strategic input to enhance offerings.Represent the lighting division at industry events and networking forums.Desired Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification : Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field preferred).3–7 years of experience in lighting design and / or business development.Proven network and strong relationships with architects in Mumbai.Expertise in Dialux is mandatory; knowledge of 3D rendering tools is a plus.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for design and client engagement.Willingness to grow into a team leadership role as the SBU scales.What We OfferA chance to be part of a new and growing SBU within Workstore.Fast-track career growth into team leadership and strategic roles in Lighting design / BD / Sales.Creative freedom and exposure to entire Western Region and Pan-India depending on performance.Competitive performance-based incentives on Sales conversion.Collaborative work culture with a focus on innovation and excellence.
