Job Title : Sales Executive (Back-End)
Reporting to : Sales Manager / Head
Location : Sewri East, Mumbai
Compensation : Rs. 4,20,000 to 5,40,000 per annum + Sales Commission as per Company Policy
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The person in this position plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales team to bring in new business and service clients from initial inquiry until delivery, with a focus on ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. This includes providing administrative support and coordinating various logistics across the customer lifecycle such as preparing quotes and presentations, scheduling client meetings, ordering fabrics, preparing production folders, and tracking after-sales support. The role requires close collaboration with production, design and accounts, and is ideal for an organised and proactive individual who has a strong attention to detail, enjoys interacting with people, and has a passion for interior aesthetic and furniture design.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
CORE SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the meeting of sales targets through
- Tracking and sharing client inquiries received on store cell phone, emails, social media, and all channels
- Timely creation of quotes, presentations and other required documents / materials
- Support the execution of proactive sales strategies
- Ensure full administrative support for prospective client meetings
- Support company’s sales representatives / business development managers with required documents and materials
- Prepare all data and documents for the accurate and complete hand over of orders for drawings and production
- Update Production Tracker and Delivery schedules with client order details
- Ensure all client documents and correspondence are saved in appropriate folders in the Dropbox
- Maintain internal upholstery catalogues and price lists
- Support the regular updates of company’s sales / product presentations
DESIGN & PRODUCTION SUPPORT
Coordinate and conduct site visits - measurements and markings, and send timely reportsSupport timely approval of working drawings from clientsMonitor and follow up for client’s timely fabric, finish and hardware selectionsOrder fabrics & leather and hand them over in a timely mannerCoordinate logistics for sending samples and fabric books to clientsSupport the follow up with clients for design & production related queriesCoordinate and support client inspection visitsSupport coordination between client sites, logistics provider, and internal team for client deliveriesTrack that client’s post-delivery snags and queries are being addressed in a timely mannerMARKETING SUPPORT
Support the ideation and creation of marketing materialsSend regular WhatsApp broadcastsMISCELLANEOUS
Regularly update organisation tracking systemsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in furniture industry, luxury retail sales or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerpointStrong communicator and enjoys interacting with peopleStrong written and spoken English language skillsBasic spoken Hindi language skillsStrong collaborator and team playerHighly organised with attention to detailHighly ethical with strong moral compassPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
