Indirect Tax – Legal Reporting & Research Analyst

Qualifications : CA, LLB, LLM, or CS

Experience : 3–5 years(post qualification)

Role Overview :

We are looking for an early-career professional in Legal journalism, reporting, tax research, writing, and analysis to join our Indirect Tax team.

You will support the GST function by drafting high-quality law reports on judgments, notifications, and court proceedings, backed by thorough research and interpretation. This role offers hands-on exposure and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in indirect tax.

Key Responsibilities :

Write concise headnotes, tax news reports by interpreting and summarizing case laws, legislative and policy changes.

Attend court virtual or physical (wherever possible) court hearings, and prepare a precision news report .

Interpret and summarize legislative and policy changes

Prepare concise and accurate summaries and reports within deadlines.

Maintain and regularly update tax databases and content repositories

Skills & Attributes :

Basic knowledge of GST, Customs, Service Tax, Excise, VAT, Sales Tax etc

Strong research and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication in English

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proactive and responsible, with the ability to handle urgent tasks

Eager to learn and grow in the field of indirect tax
