Function : Responsibilities :

The Firmware Engineer II will work in conjunction with the Global R&D team and one who has working knowledge and experience in own discipline, Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments, Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems, Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

The candidate should be a self-driven professional who can perform tasks independently and work effectively as part of a team, all while adhering to the strategic direction provided by senior leadership.

There will be variety of firmware and software task associated with this opportunity.

Firmware engineering will be involved in a wide variety of coding at all levels of embedded software stack, including drivers, middleware, controller libraries and applications.

Job Requirements :

• Practical experience in programming 32-bit ARM Cortex microcontrollers or similar platforms in embedded C / C++.
• Understand and able to develop the GUI design using microcontrollers.
• Proficient in the design, implementation, and debugging of firmware.
• Fundamental understanding of embedded hardware principles, including analog and digital circuit design.
• knowledge of embedded programming principles with an emphasis on data security protocols.
• Capable of reviewing existing products code and design specifications to enhance performance.
• Skilled in interfacing with 16 / 24-bit ADCs and DACs.
• Experience in bootloader development.
• Hands-on expertise in developing drivers and debugging prevalent communication protocols, including I2C, SPI, UART, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and USB.
• Implementation of wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RF, and LTE.
• Proficient in sensor interfacing for various applications, including pressure, flow, and temperature measurements.
• Experienced in memory programing, NAND Flash, SDRAM, and SD card.
• Competent in display interfacing, including 7-segment displays, TFT displays, and touch screen interfaces.
• Familiar with firmware integrated development environments, specifically ST Microelectronics System Workbench AC6 and Atollic TrueSTUDIO,IAR etc.
• Skilled in interrupt scheduling and handling.
• Capable of developing test cases to validate each code module prior to its integration with hardware.
• Automation interfaces development and providing support and guidance to the web server team for web application development.
