Senior Protection & Control Engineer

Job Description : Senior P&C Engineer

Location : Mumbai, Bengaluru, Noida

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Complete relay and controls detailed design for utility substations 115kV and above (Schematics, three-lines, one-lines, wiring diagrams, panel fronts, control building layouts, etc.)

Develop protection philosophies from Scratch (i.e. IEEE standards, utility standards, and other industry standards) and create protection one lines

Calculate AC Load Studies and station service sizing

Carry out DC Load study and battery sizing calculations

Calculate cable voltage drops and cable tray loading calculations

CT Saturation calculations and tap selections

Development of control building specifications desired but not required

Relay protection calculations and settings

Arc-Flash calculations

Qualification :

Must have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering

8-13 years’ experience is must

Experience in detailed design

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to take direction and multi-task required.

Strong with AutoCAD Electrical or other automated / integrated relay wiring design tools desired

Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP and / or ASPEN desired, but not required

Expected to work with Utility Substations, Transmission Lines, Solar and Wind Generation Facilities, Energy Storage, etc
