Job description

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for mobile applications (Android & iOS)Automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.Manage mobile provisioning profiles, certificates, keystores, and signing processesCollaborate closely with mobile developers, QA, and DevOps to improve release workflowsEnsure high reliability and performance of the build infrastructureMonitor builds, resolve failures quickly, and improve pipeline speed and stabilityIntegrate automated testing and code quality checks into the build process (unit, UI, static analysis)Maintain documentation on build and deployment proceduresEvaluate and adopt tools and technologies to improve CI / CD practicesProactively communicate status and issues to their managerCollaborate with other teams to find creative solutions to customer issuesShow a commitment to delivery deadlines, in particular seasonal and vendor partner deadlines that are critical to Best Buy’s continued successRequirements7+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience. Including : 5+ years of professional experience in CI / CD engineering, DevOps, or related technical field5+ years of strong hands-on experience with CI / CD platforms : Jenkins, GitHub Actions3+ years of experience deploying apps to Apple App Store, Google Play Store, TestFlight, and App Center3+ years of experience with source control systems : Git, GitHub, BitbucketDemonstrated expertise with mobile build tools : Gradle, Fastlane, Xcode Command Line Tools, CocoaPods3+ years of experience of artifact generation and distribution - mobile artifacts (.apk, .ipa) and release changelogs (secure management of certificates, API keys, keystore / provisioning profiles using GitHub Secrets or encrypted stores)2+ years of experience in Web app deployment using AWS S3 + CloudFront or equivalent hosting / CDN services (Akamai)3+ years of experience in deploying services using backend technologies like Java, .NETProficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Groovy, Ruby, or PerlSolid experience with Ansible, Chef, or similar configuration management toolsStrong troubleshooting and debugging skills in fast-paced, CI / CD-heavy environmentsExperience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines in MacOS and Linux environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work across development, QA, and DevOps teamsPreferredExperience with containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration platforms like KubernetesFamiliarity with Terraform for infrastructure provisioningExperience integrating static code analysis and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP tools)Knowledge of automated UI testing frameworks (e.g., Detox, Appium, XCTest, Espresso)Experience using Firebase, Crashlytics, and other mobile monitoring toolsPrior experience in managing large-scale app deployments in enterprise environmentAWS / GCP / Azure cloud experience related to build infrastructure and mobile deploymentsAutomated semantic versioning, changelog generation, and Git taggingFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS IAM, CodeBuild, S3 permissions)Experience with monorepo or multi-package repositories and scalable CI strategiesKnowledge of GraphQL federation, schema validation, and breaking change detection in CI pipelinesUse of tools like Apollo Studio, GraphQL Inspector, or Hasura CLI in deployment workflowsDevOps certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Jenkins Engineer, etc.)About Best BuyBest Buy™ India is a vibrant hub of tech talent, where we're driving innovation and accelerated business outcomes for Best Buy, our customers, employees and partners every day.
