Site Quality Engineer – Wind Turbine Projects

Key Responsibilities :

1. Quality Assurance & Control

Prepare inspection plan aligned with project schedule, ensuring supervision of critical processes & milestones.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and safety norms.

Verify supplier materials & equipment meet quality standards.

Inspect and review WTG storage & preservation practices monthly.

2. Supervision & Monitoring

Supervise construction activities as per drawings & specifications.

Monitor compliance with safety protocols & Company standards.

Oversee & document CTQ parameters, address non-conformities, and record corrective actions in PQHC & PROMIS app.3. Inspection & Testing

Coordinate with customer team for soil, concrete, and material tests.

Attend customer RFIs & ensure timely inspections.

Carry out milestone inspections as per FQAP for WTG.

Support commissioning readiness of WTG.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain inspection records, test results, and quality trackers.

Prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports.

Track NCRs & ensure resolution.

Provide inputs on Work Completion Certificates (WCCs).

Submit monthly reports on Unresolved Actions & Complaints.

5. Coordination & Communication

Act as interface between client, contractors, and suppliers.

Liaise with project teams for closure of quality issues.

Report CTQ deviations to Central Quality.

Release STOP NOTE in case of major safety / process deviations.

Participate in coordination meetings.
