Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Facility Management :

  • Oversee daily operations of office premises, building infrastructure, utilities, and

critical services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, security, etc.).

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules with vendors and service
  • providers.

  • Manage housekeeping, security, landscaping, and waste management contracts.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance :

  • Ensure all facility-related statutory requirements are met (fire safety, environmental
  • norms, health & safety regulations, occupancy certifications, etc.).

  • Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop, update, and enforce policies and procedures in line with corporate
  • governance standards.

    Budgeting & Vendor Management :

  • Prepare annual facility budgets and control operational costs.
  • Manage vendor agreements, SLAs, renewals, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure procurement follows internal approval and audit processes.
  • Health, Safety & Risk Management :

  • Implement workplace safety protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct safety drills, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are met in alignment with company and
  • government regulations.

    Sustainability & Efficiency Initiatives :

  • Lead green building practices and energy-saving initiatives.

  • Monitor resource usage (water, power, paper, etc.) and promote cost-efficient
  • practices.

    Space Planning & Asset Management :

  • Oversee office space utilization, seating plans, and relocations.
  • Maintain records of fixed assets, AMCs, and facility-related inventories.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or
  • a related field. (MBA or PG in Facility / Operations Management preferred)

  • 8–12 years of experience in facility management, including experience in
  • governance / compliance.

  • Knowledge of relevant statutory norms (Fire NOC, EHS, ISO, FSSAI, etc.) and
  • regulatory processes.

  • Proficient in facility management software (CAFM, BMS, etc.) and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and crisis management skills.
  • Working Conditions :

  • Primarily office-based; may require visits to multiple sites or corporate locations.
  • Flexible working hours during audits, events, or facility emergencies.
