Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a MCC Panel Design Engineer to drive the MCC panel design and manufacturing at VaCom.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the project requirements.

Design Motor Control Centers (MCC) with VFDs, starters, circuit breakers, and controls for the refrigeration industry.

Use CAD software for creating single line diagrams (SLD), control circuits, detailed GA drawings and BOM.

Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals.

Work with assembly, engineering and commissioning teams during the assembly, testing and startup phases.

Know and keep up with the ANSI / IEEE, NEMA, and UL etc. design requirements.

Skills & Competencies

CAD design of electrical panels.

Electrical load calculation and component selection.

Good communication and ability to work with different teams.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Travel

This role requires travel, but it is not frequent.

Basic Qualification

Experience : 3- 5 Years

Education : BE / B-Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
