Job description

Roles and Responsibility

Under limited supervision, the Principal SAPDeveloper will be required to analyze highly complex business problems to besolved with technical solutions. It willprovide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systemsand procedures that are cost effective and meets business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership in the design,development, implementation and support of SAP medium size functionalsolutions.
  • Worked on minimum 4 years in EWM system SAPEWM ABAP developments
  • As a member of development team : work independently to design and developsolutions to meet the business requirements in all of the related functionalareas such as MM, SD, FI, CO, QM, APO, SRM.
  • Manage all phases of the development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment andpost-production support / maintenance.
  • Create development standards and best practicesto deliver stable, reliable, high-performing, accurate, user-friendly,low-maintenance solutions that are highly available and scalable.
  • Produce and peer review technical designs andarchitectures for development projects.
  • Demonstrate effective and collaborativecommunication with internal team members and functional team members.
  • Coordinate project tasks and ensure accurateestimates are provided for completion of development tasks.
  • Research and debug potential performance orother system anomalies. (i.e., demonstrate superior problem resolution).
  • Create and compile technical documentationincluding unit, integration, and acceptance test plans, support documentation,end user documentation for delivered solutions and other tasks.
  • Develop and enforce day-to-day supportpolicies and procedures.
  • Communicate status of projects and initiativesto management.
  • Mentor / develop / motivate technical andanalytical staff.
  • Manage multiple projects / reporting solutionsfor multiple business areas.

Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills& Abilities)

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skill. Abilityto work directly with business analysts to translate complex functional designinto technical specifications. Able to grasp requirements quickly and anticipatepotential future requirements.
  • Possesses strong technical development skillsacross many functional and technological areas with ability to provide contextto requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral andwritten including ability to conduct formal and informal presentations andworkshops with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business andall members of the IT organization.
  • Ability to recognize and minimize designdependencies between projects.
  • Advanced working knowledge and problem-solvingskills related to SAP ECC, S / 4 HANA, ABAP or interface technologies and allother used application tools. Able to mentor junior analysts. Advanced workingknowledge of drop ship scenarios, QM, IM, inbound WM, MM, PM and SRM andrelated processes.
  • Demonstrate strong conceptual reasoning skillsand discretionary judgment.
  • In-depth knowledge of an SDLC process andability to develop sound project plans within this framework.
  • Intermediate to advanced project managementskills, including ability to use influence, persuasion, and mediation toresolve issues and drive consensus.
  • As part of SAP development team, superiorknowledge of ABAP / 4 report and dialog programming, form development, datadictionary objects, performance tuning and debugging and data migration andextraction tools. Understanding of the ABAP Objects concepts and developmenttools as well as the internet capabilities of the Web Application servertechnologies and their development environment, such as WebDynpro, WebServices, XML interfaces. Expert levelknowledge in at least two non-standard development technologies such as SAPConsole, SmartForms / SAP Script, EDI / XI middleware development, WebDynpro, ABAPObjects, Oops ABAP, Label Printing, XML processing, Workflow etc.
  • Should have strong hands-onexperience in SAP ABAP / 7.55 development for HANA. Extensive experience increating AMDP views, CDS views, BOPF, Table functions, ODATA and CDS exposure
  • Preferred Experience in deliveringcomplex ABAP developments independently AMDP and RAP model Deliverables
  • Hands on experience on working onHANA DBMS using ABAP 7.50 Coding Syntaxes (Advanced Open SQL)
  • Putaway strategies (Pallet,Standard, Addition to existing), Removal Strategies (FIFO, LIFO), Cross LinePutaway
  • Warehouse order creation rules,Warehouse Process type configuration, PPF Configuration
  • HU Management, Replenishment,Physical Inventory
  • RF Configuration, MFS Configuration
  • Worked in Core SAP EWM areas such asInbound, Outbound, Internal and Cross Docking.
  • Knowledge on Performance tuning andinterfacing technologies.
  • Working knowledge of upgrade processes and all aspects ofsystem testing.
  • Able to work extended or non-standard hours to supportbusiness needs and project deadlines as needed.

    • Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science orrelated area, or equivalent additional work experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years in SAP ECC / S / 4 HANAimplementation experience in a team environment
  • Minimum 4 years in SAP EWM implementationexperience as Senior EWM ABAP consultant
  • Experience leading and mentoring a developmentteam.
  • SAP S / 4 HANA ABAP Technical Certified consultantpreferred.
