Job description

UI Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled UI automation tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated tests at all levels, including functional, integration, system, and end-to-end tests.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing test automation / harness with Python. They should also have experience with REST endpoints, mocking frameworks, virtualization, cloud, and storage domains, as well as good knowledge of code versioning tools like Git and Jenkins CI / CD build deployment processes.

Responsibilities :

Design and develop automated tests at all levels
Integrate automated tests with CI pipeline
Work with release team and Ops to deploy and release software on staging and production environments
Investigate and reproduce defects reported by customers and technical support
Report, track, and manage issues in a defect tracking system
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes

Requirements :

7+ years of strong hands-on experience in developing test automation / harness with Python

Experience with REST endpoints and mocking frameworks

Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud, and storage domains

Good knowledge of code versioning tools like Git

Good knowledge of Jenkins CI / CD build deployment process
