Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs focusing on the HR module with strong emphasis on Payroll functionality.
- Utilize ABAP technologies such as Enhancement Framework, BADIs, Interactive Reporting, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Design and develop global classes and methods tailored to client-specific requirements.
- Perform interface programming, report development, and other ABAP related activities.
- Leverage knowledge of SAP HANA and BTP framework to optimize and enhance applications.
- Debug complex technical issues effectively and resolve them independently.
- Write, review, and validate detailed technical specifications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Apply strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deliver robust solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management both verbally and in writing.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
6 to 8 years of professional experience in ABAP development, with a focus on the HR module.Strong hands-on expertise in ABAP technologies including :Enhancement FrameworkBADIs (Business Add-Ins)Interactive ReportingObject-Oriented ABAP (OOP)Good understanding of SAP HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).Solid domain knowledge in HR and Payroll processes.Proficient in creating global classes, methods, interface programming, and reports.Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.Experience in writing and validating technical specifications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with end-to-end HR / payroll implementations.Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR solutions.Certification in SAP ABAP or SAP HCM modules is a plus.(ref : hirist.tech)
