We're seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer with deep Shopify experience to join our growing team building the next generation of high-performance e-commerce solutions.

Role Overview
This role is ideal for a strong front-end engineer who's also a subject matter expert in the Shopify ecosystem. You'll contribute to both the implementation as well as the architectural vision of high-quality, fast web applications. You'll collaborate with our design, engineering and product teams to deliver engaging user experiences while solving challenging technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including US-based PMs / sales) to align technical work with client expectationsDesign and implement sophisticated front-end architectures using modern web technologiesAct as the primary Shopify expert, providing guidance on platform capabilities and custom app developmentWrite clean, reusable, well-tested code with a focus on performance and maintainabilityOptimize applications for Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) and SEOMentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural discussions around state management, caching, and deploymentWork across the stack, integrating 3rd party APIs and custom backend servicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a collaborative, team-based environmentUse AI to accelerate product development including use for code writing, code review, problem solving, and driving general efficiency and quality of development.Required Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English5+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead roleDeep expertise in Shopify theme development, including :Customizing and building Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, SCSS / CSS, and JavaScriptWorking with Shopify's Online Store 2.0 framework and theme architecture (sections, blocks, metafields)Strong understanding of the Shopify admin, storefront, and checkout customization capabilitiesFamiliarity with Shopify CLI, Git-based theme deployment, and development workflowsExperience integrating third-party apps and custom scripts into Shopify stores ○ Solid understanding of Shopify's limitations and best practices for performance, accessibility, and SEOWorking knowledge of Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API) and webhook integrationsExperience with RESTful APIs and basic asynchronous JavaScript (fetch / AJAX)Proficiency with utility-first CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS (optional but nice to have)Familiarity with common front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack, Vite, or esbuild)Advanced Technical Knowledge
