Senior Linux Administrator (Contract – 2 Months, Extendable)

Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore

Work Mode : Work from Home (1 day per month in office)

Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Linux server installation, patching, and system administration. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage production environments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities : Perform installation, configuration, and patching of Linux servers (RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu).

Manage system performance, upgrades, and security updates.

Perform root cause analysis for system issues and ensure high availability.

Work closely with internal teams to support infrastructure and deployments.

Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools.

Required Skills & Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in Linux system administration.

Strong expertise in installation, patching, upgrades, and security hardening.

Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, NFS, SSH, firewalls, etc.).

Experience with shell scripting for automation tasks.

Exposure to virtualization (VMware / KVM) or cloud environments (AWS / Azure) is a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Additional Details : Start Date : Immediate / Within 1 week preferred.

Mode : Remote (1 day in office per month for review / meetings).

Office Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore.

Contract Type : 2 months, extendable based on project continuation and performance
