About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled WLAN Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded software modules for next-generation wireless networking products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RTOS-based development, low-level driver integration, and WLAN protocols (IEEE 802.11). This role requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate across global teams while taking full ownership of assigned deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

Embedded Software Development : Design, implement, and optimize RTOS-based software modules for WLAN systems.
OS-Level Programming : Apply core operating system concepts including synchronization, threading, memory management, and inter-process communication (IPC).
Driver Development & Integration : Build, validate, and integrate peripheral drivers (SPI, UART, SDIO, PCIe) with flow control support.
Networking Protocols : Implement and enhance wireless networking protocols with a focus on IEEE 802.11 standards to ensure high performance and reliability.
System Debugging & Optimization : Perform debugging using logs, traces, and profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
Collaboration & Ownership : Work closely with cross-functional and global engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery while independently driving assigned tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, or related field.

Experience : 3- 6 years of experience in embedded systems development.

Strong expertise in C / C++ programming for embedded platforms.

Hands-on experience with RTOS concepts (scheduling, multitasking, synchronization primitives).

Proficiency in low-level driver development (SPI, UART, SDIO, PCIe).

Solid understanding of wireless communication protocols, preferably IEEE 802.11 (WLAN).

Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, Wireshark, UART logs, or kernel trace analyzers.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of Linux kernel internals and device driver development.

Familiarity with Bluetooth / Matter / Zigbee protocols in addition to WLAN.

Exposure to firmware performance tuning and low-power optimization techniques.

Experience in working with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
