Position Overview

As a Security Tester, you will be responsible for performing security testing on our web applications and APIs. You will communicate end-to-end with clients regarding the projects you are assigned to and promote security awareness throughout the organization through regular communication on security best practices and the latest online threats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security testing on web applications and APIs.
• Communicate effectively with clients about project details and status.
• Promote security awareness within the organization.
• Assess systems against the latest attacks, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
• Deliver project status on time with minimal escalations.
• Identify potential attack vectors.
• Monitor automated scans and verify false positives.
• Solid understanding of encryption fundamentals and the latest OWASP Top 10 for both web applications and APIs, including associated attack vectors.
• Experience in security testing on at least 30 web applications and 50 APIs.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite Proxy Tool, Wireshark, Nmap, Fiddler, Echo Mirage, Kali Linux, Postman, and SOAP UI.
• Ability to assess the security impact of bugs and API inconsistencies.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills for calls and emails.
