Job Title : US Mortgage Loan Quality Specialist (Pre / Post-Close Audit)

📍 Location : Bangalore

🕒 Shift Flexibility : 24 / 7 availability including nights and weekends

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive US Mortgage Loan Quality Specialist to join our mortgage operations team in Bangalore. This role is essential in ensuring loan files meet all compliance and quality standards prior to closing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. mortgage documentation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritize daily workflow to meet closing deadlines and manage pipeline effectively
Order and follow up on required verifications and documentation, ensuring compliance with timeframes
Review income documentation including Paystubs, W2s, Bonus / Commission, Alimony / Child Support, and Rental Income
Communicate loan file status with internal and external stakeholders
Escalate potential fraud cases to Credit Manager or Risk Management
Deliver decisions (approval, suspense, denial) within SLA timelines
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
Work independently while collaborating with supervisors to resolve complex issues
Manage high loan volumes with strong time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in U.S. Residential Mortgage, preferably in Pre / Post-close audit

Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines and documentation standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working in a paperless environment

Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
