About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust server-side logic, APIs, and cloud-hosted applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, and deploying applications on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems using Python with Django and FastAPI frameworks.
Design and build RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
Implement and manage GCP-based hosting solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Design and manage MongoDB databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing backend systems.
Monitor and improve application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration / deployment processes.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in backend development.

Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Django and FastAPI frameworks.

Familiarity with GCP services like App Engine, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, or Firebase.

Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.

Hands-on experience with hosting, server management, and application deployment.

Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Skills

Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.

Understanding of asynchronous programming and WebSocket integration.
