Job description6+ years of experience with the NestJS framework and the TypeScript programming language. A solid understanding of Node.js, as NestJS is built on top of it. Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles. Experience with ORM tools.. Knowledge of server-side caching mechanisms. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI / CD pipelines. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). Understanding of testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest, Mocha, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced web applications using Nest.js, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Write clean and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and understanding of type-safe development.
- Proficient in database design, architecting database schemas, optimizing data structures, and ensuring data integrity.
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support our frontend services.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and libraries to enhance application functionality.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Implement security measures and data protection best practices.
- Collaborate with UI / UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive interfaces.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards.
- Manage and monitor deployments on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to technical documentation and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
