Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Science Intern at Stylumia. The role is located in Bengaluru with the flexibility of working from home. The intern will be responsible for conducting data analyses, developing predictive models, generating insights, and supporting decision-making processes. Day-to-day tasks include data collection, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and presenting findings to enhance retail strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Data Science
  • Experience in Statistics and Data Analytics
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis techniques and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning is a plus
  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our global team and work on cutting-edge Generative AI and Agentic Systems for the retail industry. This is not a typical internship — you will be immersed in a fast-evolving AI environment, working hands-on with multi-agent workflows, LLM-based intelligence, and real retail data to solve high-impact problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and experiment with AI / GenAI agents for trend discovery, demand sensing, pricing, consumer insights, search, and matching.
  • Work with real-world retail datasets (structured, unstructured, multimodal) to extract patterns and predictions.
  • Prototype and evaluate agentic workflows that connect data → insights → decisions.
  • Contribute to internal R&D on consumer-driven intelligence at internet scale.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to take concepts from idea to proof.

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Strong foundation in data science / machine learning (Python, SQL, ML libraries, MLops, Search).
  • Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, or multi-agent frameworks (LangChain, n8n, Flowise, RelevanceAI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Curiosity to explore retail, consumer behavior, and digital commerce.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast, experimental, global team.
  • Self-starter with a learning mindset — we value inputs (effort, curiosity) as much as outputs (results).
