Payment Solution

In Payments solution, we build and improve integrations at a global scale for in-store and online payments. We make sure that our merchants and partners have a seamless integration with the Adyen platform and a smooth payment experience.

At In-Person Payments we maximize the potential and the resilience of our payment solutions. The ambition is to expand geographically and support local payment methods so we can grow from 300k to 5 million payment terminals in the field. Our processed volume from 100 bn to 1 TRILLION! Everything we do is about scaling for the future, it’s super exciting.

What you’ll do :

As a Java Engineer you will work on solutions enabling our payment terminals by orchestrating payments through integration with different Adyen systems.

• You will design, develop, test and deliver high-volume, low-latency applications for payment systems.
• Work cross-functionally with design, product and other engineers within Payments Solution.
• Define, implement and monitor performance KPIs to quickly identify opportunities for improvement in existing systems
• Think about how businesses would consume and benefit from your changes
• Collaborate with different teams to design and implement new services with reliability / infra / data / dev in mind.
• Collaborate in a team environment with an open communication / feedback culture
• Play an important role in areas including but not limited to : engineering best practices, scalable architecture design, product roadmap discussions.
