Job descriptionExperienced Linux user and system administrator. Experience in deploying and administering KVM, ESXi and / or XenServer hypervisors Experience in deploying, supporting or managing clouds based on Apache Cloudstack (preferably) and / or OpenStack Experience in debugging and resolving production issues Experience in support participation, on-call schedules and using tools Good networking knowledge, including software defined networking Good understanding of storage protocols and technologies (CIFS and NFS, object storage s3 etc) Excellent spoken and written English Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or a related field. 3-10 years in similar roles in technical operations.
Role Overview :
We manage mission-critical cloud infrastructure for our customers globally. This role entails providing 24x7 managed support for these cloud environments. In this role, you will be a part of the Cloud Operations Centre (COC) Team.
Responsibilities :
Your responsibilities in this role will be centered around the following :
- 24x7 Cloud monitoring and support.
- Make sure Service SLA is met with appropriate responses & resolutions.
- Documentation and maintaining customer technical build documentations.
- Own new upgrades for existing deployments and their documentation.
- Own new remote site deployments and their documentation.
- Deliver internal training as per schedule.
- Technical Account Manager for Key Customers.
- Work with the open-source community.
