Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Pune. The Accountant will handle day-to-day duties such as preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, overseeing payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves budget preparation, conducting financial analyses, and assisting in audits as required. Collaboration with internal departments to support financial decision-making is an essential part of the job.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and budgeting
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Accuracy in financial reporting, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of tax regulations and ability to manage compliance and audits
• Strong communication skills and capability to work collaboratively in a team
• Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
