About the Role
We are looking for a Practice Development Associate to join our client, a leading law firm with offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru.
As a Practice Development Associate, you will work directly with the Managing Partner's Office and collaborate with Partners and senior leadership to support the growth of the Firm's practices. This role combines research, strategic execution, communications, and PR, and will give you the opportunity to work at the intersection of law, business development, and media.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to support practice and practice development initiatives.
- Prepare submissions for rankings, directories, and awards.
- Draft, maintain, and update Firm profiles, deal lists, experience lists, and marketing collateral.
- Track market trends, legal developments, and competitor activity relevant to the Firm and its practice areas.
- Support the Firm's PR and media outreach, including liaising with journalists, monitoring media opportunities, and preparing press materials.
- Assist in planning and executing the Firm's participation in events, conferences, and thought-leadership initiatives.
- Maintain and update internal trackers, databases, and practice development dashboards on a real-time basis.
- Draft internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and social media content.
- Manage and grow the Firm's social media presence across relevant platforms.
- Liaise with Partners and teams across offices to coordinate practice development projects and deliverables.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and ensure high-quality outputs across all PD activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business, Communications, or a related field.Experience in legal research, legal rankings, PR, or professional services is a plus.Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with online databases, social media, and digital tools.Why should you apply
