Experience

• Experience of 2-5 years in designing ground mount projects of any size.
• Experience in AutoCAD or Excel for preparation of drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical engineering projects related to solar PV systems, including PV array layout, electrical single-line diagrams, equipment and system sizing.
• Support the preparation of design documents, such as drawings, specifications, and reports, in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, structural engineers, and construction managers to develop comprehensive project designs.
• Conduct site visits and field investigations under the guidance of senior engineers to gather necessary data for design and analysis.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings, contributing ideas and solutions to technical challenges.
• Continuously develop technical and professional skills through on-the-job training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

Software Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or other electrical design software for the design and drafting of electrical engineering projects.
• Familiarity with solar PV design software, such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of power system analysis software, such as ETAP or equivalent, is a plus.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with any sub-station design software is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, electrical circuits, and renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations, such as IS, IEEE, and local codes.
• Coursework or experience in Solar PV systems, generation system or transmission systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems is desirable.
