Job Description

Role purpose :

The L1 Linux Administrator is responsible for providing first-level support for Linux-based systems. This includes monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and escalating issues to L2 / L3 teams.

The role ensures system uptime and supports routine operational tasks in a 24x7 environment.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for managing Server related Incidents / Service Requests and Change Requests within the defined SLA.
• Perform Linux OS patching as per scheduled maintenance windows.
• Handle user management tasks including account creation, permission assignments, and password resets.
• Knowledge in Linux administration and Troubleshooting, Knowledge about Ansible and containerization technology.
• Fixing Linux Hardware and OS issues / problems.
