About the Role :

Join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team in Kolkata! We're seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with 3-6 years of experience to transform complex operational and customer data from the electricity distribution sector into powerful, actionable insights. If you're passionate about data visualization and making a tangible impact on strategic decisions, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do :

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective visualizations.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and performance.
  • Support key business areas like regulatory reporting, load forecasting, outage analysis, and energy consumption insights.
  • Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and user experience.
  • Document processes, data sources, and business rules.
  • Empower business users through training on Tableau.

What You Bring :

  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development and BI / BA roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL , data modeling, and ETL concepts.
  • Experience working with utility / energy sector data (meter readings, billing, load curves, outages) is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights.
  • Familiarity with data warehouses, cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Preferred :

  • Knowledge of electricity distribution KPIs and regulatory frameworks.
  • Tableau certification (e.G., Tableau Desktop Certified Associate).
