Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage a team
responsible for developing comprehensive structural designs and 3D models to support
Mechanical, Plumbing, and Firefighting services. This role combines technical expertise
with team management, requiring the ability to oversee project deliverables, ensure high-
quality output, and foster collaboration within the team and across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of designers and modelers to create detailed 3D models and drawings
for structural supports for Mechanical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems,
including plans, single-line diagrams, sections, and elevations using Staad, Revit,
Navisworks and AutoCAD.
Review client inputs, define project scope, and ensure alignment with design intentwhile planning and delegating work across the team.
Provide technical guidance to team members to enhance productivity and skills.Collaborate with the BIM / CAD team to meet project requirements, timelines, andquality standards.
Facilitate coordination between the team and other discipline leads, designers, andengineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
Oversee the development of clash-free 3D models in Revit and ensure the creationof custom Revit families when required.
Validate and approve Shop / Installation Drawings derived from coordinated models.Monitor project progress, proactively address risks, and provide updates toDiscipline Leads, Project Managers, or Project Leads.
Stay informed about technical advancements and integrate relevant updates intoteam workflows.
Represent the team in project meetings and client calls, fostering clearcommunication and effective problem-solving.
Ensure adherence to company QAQC processes, BIM protocols, and safetystandards.
Identify training and development opportunities for team members to enhanceperformance and career growth.
Perform other duties as assigned by management and contribute to strategicinitiatives.
Manage off-hours coordination with clients as needed and delegate responsibilitieseffectively.
Candidate Profile :
Proven ability to lead and manage a team in the creation of Mechanical Revit MEP3D models for building projects.
Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and ProjectWise, with aminimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on fostering teamwork andcollaboration.
Adept at identifying and resolving technical and coordination challenges.Skilled in project planning, task delegation, and performance monitoring.Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint forproject reporting and communication.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technicalconcepts clearly to both clients and team members.
Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards innovation and processimprovement.
Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional client service.Desirable Skills :Experience with creating and managing custom Revit families.Proficiency in implementing QAQC practices and BIM strategies at a team or projectlevel.
Ability to mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to foster growthand learning.
