This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Architect (Frontend Focused) in India .

In this role, you will take the lead in designing, developing, and scaling full-stack software applications, with a strong emphasis on frontend architecture. You will drive technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and ensure best practices in system design and software development. Working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into robust technical solutions. You will also oversee API and database design, guide the adoption of emerging technologies, and maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability. This position provides the opportunity to make a direct impact on product architecture and influence engineering culture while supporting a distributed team across multiple time zones.

Accountabilities :

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of scalable software systems, with a frontend-focused perspective.
  • Design, develop, and optimize front-end applications using frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Architect and manage back-end solutions, including RESTful APIs and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code through code reviews and best practices.
  • Guide, mentor, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose their adoption to improve product architecture and performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in software development, with current or prior role as a Software Architect in a product-based company.
  • Proven expertise in JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, React, Angular, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system design.
  • Experience in building and scaling APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
  • Track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams, driving technical discussions, and making architectural decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in IST timezone and collaborating with US-based teams.
  • Familiarity with emerging frontend and backend technologies and frameworks.
