Role Objective We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounts, and compliance (including 5+ years in leadership roles) to drive financial accuracy, governance, and business support at our Rabale facility. The role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on control, covering financial planning, taxation, treasury, audit, inventory management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee end-to-end accounting, month / quarter / year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with IND-AS / IFRS. Ensure accuracy of General Ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions. Drive timely preparation of MIS reports, profitability analysis, and variance reports for management decision-making.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Bonus Act, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory obligations. Manage tax audits, assessments, and liaise with consultants / authorities for direct and indirect tax matters. Implement strong processes to ensure adherence to statutory requirements across multiple locations.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Monitor working capital, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning. Prepare contingency plans for cash flow, vendor credit, and inventory buffers. Manage fund flows, vendor payments, and foreign remittances in line with FEMA guidelines. Liaise with banks for facilities, fund transfers, and treasury operations.
Budgeting, Costing & Business Finance
Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis. Drive cost control initiatives, margin analysis, and plant-level cost optimization. Develop batch-wise costing models and BoM-based cost tracking for consumption. Oversee BoM accuracy for each product SKU, including raw material consumption, yield, and wastage tracking. Track SKU-level profitability and compile detailed margin analysis. Collaborate with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
Inventory, Vendor & Customer Controls
Lead periodic inventory audits, reconciliations, and controls across plant and warehouses. Identify gaps, analyze discrepancies, and recommend improvements in stock management systems. Oversee vendor ledger reconciliation, GRN (Goods Receipt Note) matching, and dispute resolution. Monitor customer ledgers for accuracy, aging, and reconciliation across domestic and export accounts. Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments, credit notes, and debit adjustments in coordination with internal teams. Define and implement credit control policies, customer-wise payment tracking, and escalation protocols for overdue accounts. Liaise with customers to resolve ledger discrepancies and ensure timely collections. Generate AR aging reports, Sales Outstanding metrics, and customer risk profiles for management review.
Audit, Leadership & Process Improvements
Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and cost audits, ensuring timely closure of observations. Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team to deliver accuracy and efficiency. Drive process automation, ERP integration, and implementation of best practices in financial operations. Strengthen internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance frameworks
Qualifications & Experience Mandatory :
Chartered Accountant (CA). Experience : 10-15 years in finance & accounts, with at least 5 years in a managerial / team handling role. Preferred Industry Exposure : Manufacturing, Food Processing, FMCG, or similar sectors with plant-level operations. Systems Knowledge : Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally ERP / SAP B1), MS Excel, and reporting tools.
Key Skills Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation (GST / TDS), payroll compliance, and financial regulations. Hands-on expertise in audit, costing, inventory management, and MIS reporting. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve escalations, and drive process efficiency. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
